Platform

  • Equity

Growing up in an environment where basic needs were a struggle and having faced racism and discrimination at workplaces, I have directly experienced inequity.
I strongly believe all the City policies should be equitable for all its citizens - youth, seniors,
low-income and fixed income families, tech
    and service workers.

  • Environment

Effects of climate change are very visible
and real - droughts, irregular weather patterns, and wildfires are too common. As a Sunnyvale Sustainability Commissioner, I have a deep understanding of environmental and sustainability issues.
Environmental impact must be a major consideration in all the City policies.

  • Effectiveness

Cities do not have enough resources to address all the problems and needs they face, and those problems and needs are growing. I have considerable experience leveraging technology and working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders to deliver more with less.
