CONTRIBUTION RULES

  • You are at least eighteen years old.

  • You are a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder)

  • Per state rules, donor must report your employer and occupation –  or list any of the following: Student, Retired, Unemployed.

  • There is a maximum contribution of $5900 per person or business entity.  A new state law prohibits people who have business before the City or represent an entity who has business before the City from giving more than $500 to an elected official who makes a decision on that business within 12 months of the donation. For more information, please see Section 8408 of the Political Reform Act.
